Account selection in non-domain environments (workgroups)

Many small networks are not controlled via a central domain server. These networks are sometimes referred to as workgroupsWorkgroup is Microsoft's term for peer-to-peer local area network. Computers running Microsoft operating systems in the same workgroup can share files, printers, or Internet connection. On these networks users cannot log on to their desktop, or computers might be shared by multiple users.
